A rather big problem. I can see why they offer 100mb. Using that much without any of those file types would take a while. :)

I agree.

Dave why not get an Ampcast account, £17 for 3 months is worth a go no ?

you could at least sell your tracks, compile an album etc.

(edit) Dave you could still offer free downloads but it looks to me like if theres that many dowloads from your previous site people would buy some tunes too ;)

I'd suggest you look elsewhere for webspace, or get an account with soundclick, peoplesound, ampcast or whatever.

You generally don't get file restrictions with most paid webspace. Like i said before, it really is worth money for cos you get what you pay for.

seems to upload .wav just fine

took me 30 seconds to get an index up (ok, i know its mt old one and most links dont work, but i got the space)
Have you looked at the terms on conditions.

one of them says:-
"We do not allow any type of programs, software, or MP3 files on our server. Also hotlinking is not allowed. "

No good for us then is it.

Cut me down in flames why don't you?

Was just trying to help.

Sorry if it's not suitable for you.
Go pay then.

Hey glassback, don't worry mate, sure you've helped some people in the right direction to getting their own web page :)

I have to say though, surprised at some peoples reluctance to pay for web hosting, when people here obviously spend a lot on music software to make the music in first place. I know i do.

But then its always nice to get something for nothing. I'd know, I blagged free stuff off Kriminal and Ian B in last few days.

Top blokes, i owe you fellas :D

I'm not sure if anyone else has mentioned it, but why not give sectionZ a try. Unlimited track & DJ mix hosting all free of charge.

Good facilities for hosting tracks. But have you ever tried negotiating the site?! It looks very pretty, but in terms of navigation its a bloody nightmare! :-o

As a web designer though, i admire the crazy graphic design :D

I still have free hosting at my site - its called the ClearShot as the rules are very clear for the free stuff.

Its also cut down on the types of mail I was getting, and now getting more serious type of enquiry.
