That's how PA roll ... they like to keep you guessingmacmuse wrote: Sun Dec 27, 2020 9:44 pm Are the prices on the site staying this way until Dec 31, and they are simply adding more each day?
What are your "must-have" Plugin Alliance plugins now that they are $29 ?

What to buy now?
Im spending far too much time thinking about this due to the good quality plugins.

I think that the Lindell 80 plugin might be worth a pop at approx $29 (on sale today at $49.99 but with the current $20 deal discount). Overall, it tends to get good reviews, for example at Gearslutz.
The only plugin that I really want is on sale now for $99.99 (with current $20 discount making it $79.99) and that's the Streamliner, which looks pretty useful.
The SSL J channel strip is similarly available at the $99.99 - $20 price, and it looks good.
But I'll wait until those two come down to approx $49.99 or lower next year

I got bx_oberhausen for $9.99. After buying Omnisphere a few weeks ago I thought my synth-buying days were over but $9 is hard to resist.
I demoed BYOME and wanted to like it, but I just got Output MOvement and that for me is doing something very similar.
I demoed Black Box HG2 a few weeks ago. I don't know if its any better than my Ozone 8 multiband exciter tbh. Or maybe I'm missing something.
So far I've been happy with my Alpha Elysia Compressor and Metric AB. Both very nice.
Not had time to get SPL Vitalizer into my workflow yet.
I'll have to demo Townhouse. Is Townhouse any good for general EDM? The demo videos I've seen are Rock, metal, guitar stuff.

Nope. It adds 'retro' characteristics, softens the sound a bit. Totally opposite to what EDM needs except if you want a vibe of 'vintage sound', something like old school house for example then it will get you a bit to that ballpark.MasterTuner wrote: Mon Dec 28, 2020 1:37 pm I'll have to demo Townhouse. What I'd say there is how much do you use VSM- 3 and Black Box? If not much, no need for PCmacmuse wrote: Mon Dec 28, 2020 4:30 pm Phil's Cascade, NEOLD thoughts after ownership? I was debating those. (I do already have Vertigo VSM-3 and Black Box, but PC seemed to be usefu).

I setup a PA account yesterday and this morning they sent me a $20 voucher code, so I bought bx_oberhausen for just £9.26.
Having never tried anything by Brainworx before, my expectations were aligned with the price I paid, but after playing with it for a few hours I simply can't believe a synth of this quality could be bought for such a small price. The thing is simply amazing.
I have the Arturia SEM and I agree with Starsky Carr that the additions each of these versions provide complement each other perfectly.
My only gripe is the lack of polyphonic portamento, but for £9.26 no complaints here

I got the good old (=GOLD lol...
) Elysia Mpressor for $11.90.
I finally own all the Elysia plugins I wanted, except MuseEq.All the Elysia plugins are a must have,I love their plugins.
I wish PA releases a good reverb (I don't like bx Room) or a new good synth like U-He ones.I would jump on something like that.

I know this is an older thread - but since they're back on sale - completely agree about the Oberhausen - sounds lovely. Also - just discovered there is another voucher floating around, which gives you $25 off anything over $39 (valid till the end of the year): USERSURVEY20LG98HBT5
