To me, Pianoteq has always had the edge from a playability perspective. With each version the modeling gets better and better and V7 is a big leap forward. They have a modeled pipe organ out but that is not a sound I use very often. It would be great to see them move into the synth area.
Thanks for the kind words on the piece. Idecided to make the outro in six but the melody ended up in seven by accident. I find that accidents can yield interesting results. When they don't, the song doesn't get finished!
I have had Repro for a while and it is very impressive. I missed the last 50% U-he sale and was hoping for another one so I could pick up Diva.

"Saving Grace" features Linnstrument controlling guitar (Orange Tree Samples Jazz Archtop) and SWAM Alto Sax. Piano, organ, fretless tapping bass, hydrasynth, and Zendrum round out the rest of the instrumentation.

This my latest piece which is a bit heavier than usual. I used LinnStrument for the virtual lead guitar (Orange Tree Samples Dracus) and the synth leads (Moog Model 15). The organ was played on a conventional keyboard, the rhythm guitar is real, the bass is NS Stick, and the drums are BFD Crush played on Zendrum.

Sounds like a real metal band, Jeremy. How did you get the backing power guitar parts to have that muted-palm metal chord crunch?

Thanks! The backing guitar is real although I played the lead guitar on Linnstrument. I am a passable guitar player four bars at a time!

That explains it. You've got an amazing ability to hear and reproduce gestures. Lucky for me, I'd say.
