Hey everyone I managed to get something finished! Vital is a very powerful and flexible synth, there's not much it can't do - the new king of the free synths!

Bitwig Studio 3.3.1 64bit - Windows 10
48x Vital - All patches made from init, onboard effects used.
Note, no TTWT or imported samples/wavetables used!
Any wavetables used were created with the onboard editor, or using the included factory wavetables.
All reverbs/delays etc were using the onboard effects in Vital!

Mastering: Loudmax 64bit, TDR Kotelnikov, TDR Nova, TDR VOS SlickEQ
Analysers: Manalyser, MOscilloscope

I FREAKING LOVE THIS SYNTH! Matt Tytel, thank you for helping lighten up my universe!

1x ECF-42 Low Pass Filter
2x combinators - for cv automation for master level (couldn't just automate master level on Vital for some reason)

3x Pump - Sonicbits IO - for lazy side-chaining
1 TSAR-1R - Softube - as Aux Send for reverb.

Turns out I liked the sound even more on Draft mode than any higher buffer. 8x buffer seems to dull out some of the cool FM sounds, OR I am just delirious with ear fatigue... My poor CPU needs a break now. I've seen so many awesome pieces of work up here! Good luck to everyone. <3

All presets made from scratch with only the free wavetables. All arrangement fx and synth modulation is done with Vitals mod-wheel and macros only, from my presets.

If the track gets among top 5 I will donate all the presets to the community. (and if it don't, I will probably do it anyway )

Aha! Sorry, its the first time im doing this! Didnt know. Dont really care, this is mainly a motivation for me to finish a track, so I tried to make it a regular psytrance length. I would probably extend it another 30sec for a release. Mix is horrible, I know. Headsets only unfortunately, im not home in the studio.

It was crazy! I was only able to work with Vital this weekend. First I found the synthesizer very complex and I couldn't get any interesting sounds out.
In the second, I tested again, just to not miss the opportunity to learn. I ended up creating really good string sounds and decided to try to create other things. I got a lot of interesting sounds, but it took a lot of time.
Despite the fatigue, I started creating something yesterday. I had several ideas, but very little time to choose and develop them, but I liked the result.
Vital is a fantastic synthesizer! I am a beginner in the field of sound design, but I got good results with it. It is an incredible piece of software and it is unbelievable that it is available for free to all of us.

I have no idea what I'm doing, I didn't even use compressors and limiters, hope this isn't too painful to listen to.

Edit 8 hours of sleep later : yup. Not good, Listening to it at home on supposedly decent headphones the mix is ass (well, if only it was the only bad thing haha)...But I still like it cause it finally made me finish something!
