Perhaps this is obviously thing, but after some using demo can say, structure of synth is not a much complex (in general, the size of user manual speak by himself), for example Absynth's structure\interface more difficult.
In Plasmonic, rather, important how these a bit unusual modules interact with each other and with modulation. And it seems that presets here in general show (covers) the principle of building certain types of physical timbres that can be achieved here.
And, these interactions, even on small deviations (perhaps a system of such a small adjustment has been implemented for this) are able to make interesting changes not only to the current timbre itself, but also to its nature of existence in a short period of time - ie there is some kind of "inertness" in timbre when the parameter value is shifted, and as sound result these short-term behaviors can be unusual\complex (with a bias in emulation of the physical process resp). For example, try to modulate some parameters of Resonance section, i've seen this behavior here.
After presets, it seems to me better to study these things independently, or how better in english "poke method" (?)

(A little tip for those who just starts - speed of tremolo on string (or drum roll) - its in Trigger section hehe)

I hear you. And would like to agree: plasmonics structure is very clear. Absynth is not as easy to grab here for sure.
But I am not a synth programming guru just in need to orientate. I was always more of a player and did tweak presets and almost no programming from scratch.
With plasmonic I have the strong pull to build my very own sounds from zero. I am sure I will fumble my way in and Brian promised video tutorials once the release dust has settled.

this (& vital) have me excited about the new year, and making new music. great to have new tools, options. plasmonic sounds great (the GUI is gonna take some time to get used to), but, no harm in that.

bought!

Important also IMO is to take care of gain staging when you use both Resonator and MM Filter in some modes. Because of the wild reaction of Resonator in some contexts, you have to carefully set Oscs levels when using Osc in both Resonator and MM Filter. Not sure I’m very clear ah ah

Need 50% and 75% GUI resize if you are watching Brian.
Thank you.

Damn bought too, crazy thing.

I liked such unpredictable\danger behavior. This is an awesome cristmas adventure.

I have to admit that despite buying Noisy (as I have a Touché), this one is growing on me. The interface totally put me off at first, I still don't like many aspects of it (including the colour!) but there is no denying the sound is excellent and I am starting to find my way around the modulation system. Noisy is so different, bright simple GUI, learn it in 5 minutes but still a wide range of complex sounds to explore - more instant gratification and a no brainier if if you have a Touché but I think Plasminic may be different enough to have 'as well' ;-)

Anyone know how long the introductory pricing will last?
X32 and 24C mixers, S88MK3, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6, Pro3, S4, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone, OP1-F, OPXY, TR-1000, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

I assume you mean Noisy? https://www.expressivee.com/61-noisy - It was 40% off introduction price when I bought it.

Touché is a controller: https://www.expressivee.com/1-touche

O.k. while I played more with the demo I begin to like it more and more if I tweak some presets to my taste. I especially like the sympathetic FX here, really makes a difference to make sound organic for me.
MMhh, how long was the intro price valid? I might cannot resist, doh´.

Jan 17th (I asked about 3 posts above yours  )

I just bought it- I figured why wait, I know I am going to! It was also a slow burn for me, there are a lot of new or different ways of doing things, but they do make sense and its very flexible :tu:

Thank you! I was not sure how it performs on my new M1 MacBook but I must say its smooth (but also here are some issues that an open GUI adds latency when Logic is in Rosetta mode).
However I just tried to layer a few instances (great that this demo let me do this) since I almost always layer 2-3 sounds and play them at once. So no trouble here with even 16 voices each and I was stunned the release (attack, decay as well) goes to 100sec. Editing is a pain for me but I guess I could get used to it and muscle memory solve this fast.
First I thought it all sounds a bit thin metallic and digital but it also can sound warm and organic in a way I love. First third party synth after P900 which gives me that feeling. Of course it will fit well with my Seaboard Rise 25 which collects dust in a corner here. I think €99 is actually a steal for it if you like such synths.
But if I have still 2 weeks to try its even better since I really need to create some custom presets and also see how it works with some of my favourite FX.
I also could imagine it will get more interesting features over time and this is just a beginning of an amazing new synth which is really fresh and unique.
The GUI is still a pain for me. Not the worlds end but at least I would like to change the colours and a resizable GUI would be nice, even if the standard size is O.k. here.
But i am pretty sure I will push the buy button on this since it ticks my 🧠
