How can I nicely and peacefully “help “ a short-tempered, possibly narcissistic, singer with anger issues realize they’re at first peak of the Dunning-Kruger effect ?

If they are actually narcisstic, I've heard the only cure is depression. If they aren't actually narcisstic, it's probably a damn frustrating situation. You probably have to be very soft in your expressions and choose your words wisely and never use the words "You can't sing." Maybe the best option is to single out some aspects of their singing and focus on improving those.

Sort of goes with the territory -some overconfidence required to stand up and think people want to hear you warbling.
I always found showing people the vocal in Newtone (or Melodyne, that type of thing..) "These are the notes of the vocal line here, and this, is what you sung.."
Always had a bit of a sobering effect.

If you are really good friends and someone you genuinely care about, with lot of patience and love you can in time show them glimpse of it, but if you just want to "help", than don't, nobody ask you do that, it's none of your businesses really, just accept that as part of their persona, especially if they can deliver what you need from them, if they can't, than tell them it's not what you need and grow apart.
You can really do more danger than good, sometimes that is actually what keeps someone doing it, fake overconfidence, destroy them that and they can fall in depression, are you gonna get them out of depression too?
Dealing with people is hard, especially with artist's, if you give them enough confidence, they can go past their abilities and deliver amazing results, but they can do the opposite, so if you really have no genuine intentions there, just don't mess with them.

I wouldn't bother (again). In my experience it's not worth the effort or frustration.
