SynthMaster v2.9.10 Release Candidate

Synthmaster 2.9.9 fx is not working here.
I am on init preset .
Window 10 Pro.

Alas I dont have Ableton and actually have never used the FX version ever. Does it work like some other instruments that are plugins that require both audio AND a midi input to trigger?

You can use at any Daw.
Just load it next to one of your Vsti than Init preset from Synthmaster 2 by clicking on the Preset screen.
Than it should be work like prev versions.

Oh I know I can use it in my DAW. I was (not well clearly ) trying to say that if it is an Ableton bug I would never be able to tell vs a something on your computer bug.
And because I wasn't sure if I had to add a midi trigger to it.

Anyway let me go try it in Cubase.

I've just tried synthmaster FX for the first time (ableton 10.1.25 as well) and I managed to have sound going through it, but it's not really intuitive. Had to follow these steps:

Take a look at this screenshot.

Reset the preset settings from "New" menu, then set osc1 type to "AudioIn".

Set trigger note to any note like "C3", and set threshold to zero.

Ah indeed it does need some special configuration different from other fx plugins.

prev ver i just needed to init the preset.

the 2.9.9 was giving me very long load times and sometimes would hang until i uninstalled everything, so i did a fresh install, also rest the config file. after that it's been solid.

I always reset the config when offered, as I upgrade SynthMaster. Have had very few issues as a result of that I presume.

I do very little customization of the synth, so that's not an issue for me to reset.

But I think it could be for some.
