I use ReelBus since version 2. Very nice Wow and Flutter effect. Also highly recommend TB Barricade, Isone, and Morphit.

A new update is available now: www.toneboosters.com/changelog.html

Some plugins that have been around for a very long time will go into retirement. The remaining plugin set now has (beta) Apple Silicon support. And we've added the (very much requested) upward compression mode to Compressor 4 :-)

Is only the M1 compatibility part in beta or the whole release? Is it save to use it in a working non-M1 environment?

I think a lot of legacy plugins will go the way of the dodo this year, obviously not that important here, they are all covered by the later plugins :)
Cant wait to try upward comp.
Duh

Don't agree at all with abandoning older plugins... why not releasing them for free since they won't be sold anymore then?

And what if they become unusable in future Windows/OSX versions and there are unfinished projects using them?

Perfectly safe on Intel; the ARM build is in beta.

The installers for these legacy plugins will remain available and everything should work for your current setup / operating system. However no software developer can ever promise that their products will continue to work forever given the fast pace of changes in OSses, processors and DAWs.... We'll do our best to keep them up and running as long as possible.

Sad to see the legacy plugins retire.
I still use track essentials ferox , compressor , reverb a lot .
I never really found a substitute for ferox , not even reelbus 4 with ferox drive algo .
Will niw make triple back-ups of these gems .
Eyeball exchanging
Soul calibrating ..frequencies

I see.. Would you mind sharing the portable version of the legacy plugins?

Thanks,
Mario

In the case of Legacy v3 plugins (TrackEssentials v3, BusTools v3) what does this mean for license transfers and license transfer fees?

Sure; they are where older installers have always been: www.toneboosters.com/changelog.html

I'm not seeing them... this is what I'm seeing on that page:

OSX installer v1.5.0 (64 bits VST, VST3, AU, AAX)
Windows installer v1.5.0 (64 bits VST, VST3, AAX)
Windows portable v1.5.0 (64 bits VST, VST3, AAX)
Windows installer v1.5.0 for legacy (v3) plugins (64 bit VST)
MacOS installer v1.5.0 for legacy (v3) plugins (64 bit VST/AU Intel Macs)
Windows installer v1.4.9 (32 and 64 bits)

I would expect

Windows portable v1.5.0 for legacy (v3) plugins (64 bit VST)

Thanks,
Mario
