Hello!
I am trying to find a device, plugin, or max4live device capable of chopping an incoming audio signal rhythmically and outputting slices to different busses based on a step sequencer
Bram Bos's Scatterbrain for ios accomplishes this beautifully
This allows you to do things like route steps 1 6 and 12 to a reverb, steps 2 3 4 11 to a pitch shifter, and the other steps to play through without processing
Is anyone aware of any tools that allow rhythmic sequenced bus routing within ableton or any other way to rhythmically reroute an audio signal through different pipelines of effects?
Rhythmic multi-out audio splitter / bus router /effect chain juggler similar to Scatterbrain on ios?

You can do that using native stuff, e.g. split the sound in bands using Effects Rack with 3 chains each containing an instance of EQ Three that only has one band active, followed by Utility whose Gain knob is modulated by LFO, Shaper or Envelopeannahahn wrote: Wed Jan 06, 2021 9:30 pmI am trying to find a device, plugin, or max4live device capable of chopping an incoming audio signal rhythmically and outputting slices to different busses based on a step sequencer.
All this is included in Live 10 Suite.

Thank you~ I figured this much out but couldn’t figure out an elegant way to sequence it without having separate on off sequencers for each chain~ is there a way to just have a single step sequencer that just selects which chain to pass the signal through?

You can draw a stepped shape in Shaper and use it to modulat the first Effect Chain's chain selector.annahahn wrote: Wed Jan 06, 2021 10:59 pmantic604 wrote: Wed Jan 06, 2021 10:27 pmYou can do that using native stuff, e.g. split the sound in bands using Effects Rack with 3 chains each containing an instance of EQ Three that only has one band active, followed by Utility whose Gain knob is modulated by LFO, Shaper or Envelopeannahahn wrote: Wed Jan 06, 2021 9:30 pmI am trying to find a device, plugin, or max4live device capable of chopping an incoming audio signal rhythmically and outputting slices to different busses based on a step sequencer.
