Hi everybody,

I was hardly seaching for new male voices with google and I found very interesting sample library at
http://musiciandesigner.com (http://musiciandesigner.com)

It seems to have good operatic male soloist and choir with legato and "nuance modeling".

Do you know this technic?
For me the result is so realistic...

What do you think?

Covert marketing works better if its, well, covert!

:hihi: my thoughts exactly.

BTW: "Blow life to your music" doesnt really work as a slogan.

Post

Hi again,

I'm rather sad you could think that ! My intention wasn't to do bad "covert" publicity to this product...

As I've been impressed by its last evolutions, I only wanted to have opinions from professionals about it...

I really apologize to you (and to musician designer too) if I made bad publicity or mistake by posting
on forums.

If you think my post doesn't respect the rules of this forum please just remove it...

It wasn't my intention (really not) ! :(

Post

LOLOD !

1)- first of all : WELCOME to kvr !

2)- don't pay attention: we're all looneys (a few genius and many, many LESS genius) here...

3)-interesting demos, interesting concept,...though i think you should have a look at the bela D media site. ...and have a listen to the"diva" demos for a comparison

(...use the quick developper link in the upper right corner ! )

Post

Cool ! I like DIVA very much !

Bela D just give the lack of musician designer : female voice...

Really interesting and thanks Krakatau !

Post

As said,... and with a personnal pleasure of adding a double sense

-You're welcome !

That's very true. That slogan should have been: Breathe life into your music!

The slogan on the web site definitely should be changed.

the male solo sounds ok'ish not the most impressive voice thoiugh

the nuance things sounds interesting if it delivers what you say it does.

though the choir sound Crap, I hate to hear samples stretched beyond their root key and little velocity switching(Machine gun)

You are perfectly right!
"Breathe life into your music!" Is exactly the title our english translator suggested last week. "Blow life..." just came from a missunderstood between him and I. We were simply waiting to see for a better solution before changing the header. This site is online for about a year now but was intended for researcher and developpers. The commercial stuff was gently coming in place, but... We didn't hope to have so much visits those days... So, I'm sorry for my bad english. Anyway, thanks LoloD: you give us a big chalange!

I think it's a bit unpolite calling someone's efforts crap. Maybe I'm a bit old fashioned.

It is a polite way of saying shit ,The word is derived from the surname of Thomas Crapper one the inventors of the W.C or indoor toilet .
The above "words" are the ramblings of a depraved megalomaniac.Any similarity to normal communication is a hallucination on the part of the reader.Replying to this post will result in your family and posessions becoming the property of funkynuts.

Hmm.... not sure if you are being sarcastic or not but "crap" is another word for "shit", just slang for "bad" I suppose.
