I'm in search of an transient shaper mainly for selfmade drumssounds (field recording, synths).

Win64, not too expensive, no dongle or e-licenser stuff and able to go into sounddesign territories.

Thank you all for any recommendations.

I would like to recommend you this one. It's WIN 64bit, resizable, low CPU usage and free.

I was just about to suggest AtomicTransient. When I want more subtle transient shaping I just use a compressor, but that one can give you a whole new envelope (and filtering too).

I've tried a bunch and my favourite is the NI Transient Master. It's simple but effective and usually sounds natural.

Boz Transgressor isn't really a transient shaper, it works more like a gate.

I haven't tried the Auburn one but it looks awesome, definitely give that a test!

Yes, Transpire by Sonic Anomaly is very good and then we got Sleepy-Time DSP Transient which has external sidechain inputs.

I have tried a lot of commercial stuff and I don’t know why but I always come back to Sleepy-Time DSP Transient. Maybe I am used to it. Great sound and very versatile. I would have paid for it.
