Unsure why you single out black music here, but this exists in all popular music.

yeah, cos no white ppl make music in those genres

it may exist in all popular music, but it is much more prevalent in those specific genres, hence the examples

I see you want to make this personal because you have low self-esteem, so this will be my final reply:

Never said white people don't make music in those genres.

Its not more prevalent, its just not trying to hide itself. You do not understand how humans operate.

I have plenty of comprehension, it is you who is either being disingenuous, or seemingly cannot comprehend ideas that are not completely literal, as evidenced twice in your extremely short reply, which is a pretty staggering achievement. In fact, there's a decent chance that you don't have enough comprehension to understand what this paragraph means.

Have fun crafting your reply which won't be read.

Rappers do use their own names as lyrics more than singers. Wouldn't call it narcissistic, just goes with the territory and the flow.

RnB not, IMO.

no craft required, you supported my points very well without even realising :tu:

(and yes, you will read it)

example:

"you don't have enough comprehension to understand what this paragraph means"

one of those words is superfluous, can you figure out which one?

happy to help....

That aside, does she say "Beyonce" in a lyric?

As for me, my milkshake brings all the boys to the yard.

not sure.
she dues want you to say it though, repeatedly.

"say my name, say my name, say my name..."

(im not arguing any style is more narcissistic than others. i think it's something outside of "genre norms" and something more internal in a person)

I hadn't, it was just a lighthearted comment. I'm pissed, who gives a f**k.

________

You mean rappers, no need to extend it over entire genres. Rappers (and those referencing rap) often self-reference their artistic name, it's part of the rap style for about 30 years.

I just tried to imagine a world with no rap. It felt shit.

Night.
