Thanks, :p designing the graphics might not be my best. I did everything myself. I can cope with your opinion. So for the 1.0 a graphic designer will overhaul my GUI design. As the CPU consumption seems to be ok for you I'm more than satisfied. As that was the hardest part to make this synth useful.Julien_LL wrote: ↑Fri Nov 27, 2020 9:02 am Well, the GUI don't look very professionnal (very generic Reaktor ensemble) but is quite useful. At core it's a jp-8080 emulation. I can't compare with hardware, but the sound is incredible. A LOT of vibe and bite, and an extensive sweet spot : each knob you turn produce rich and interesting sounds. On top of that, there is many options from other emulations, filter curves and colors, additionnal oscillators, global fxs which sound very good and can help you build a "mutant" synth (like a restricted Diva). The CPU consumption seems to be ok.
Thanks for your details it will be helpful. I hope the sound gets in your flavour i really recommend trying the hardware yourself, but the idea was for everyone to skip the hardware part from here.

One important thing that should be mentioned here is that Impact Soundworks took this whole project under their wing, so this will be a Reaktor Player release!

No specific ETA, as long as it takes to make it the best it can be for v1.0 release. NKS is not implemented yet, GUI will be completely redone, etc.Examigan wrote: ↑Mon Jan 11, 2021 11:29 amI wonder when that will be, ETA?EvilDragon wrote: ↑Mon Jan 11, 2021 8:32 am One important thing that should be mentioned here is that Impact Soundworks took this whole project under their wing, so this will be a Reaktor Player release!

Over 20+ audio demo's all with different vibes and approaches.
Trance, Hardcore, Early Hardcore, Rave, Hardstyle, 80's, Top40's, 20's, Synthwave, Moviescoring, Gametunes. Techno, Ambient and the whole bunch.
A couple demo's are 100% chro-8080 also used the chro-8080 as fx.
Some are mixed, or drums seperated. Others are more processed.
Important info:
Chro-8080 Will be available for Reaktor Player with NKS support and a GUI overhaul.
Impact Soundworks is collaborating with Pulsecraft for a design which I personally think
will meet the standards you guys expect. I personally feel this Synthesizer replaces
almost all of my current hardware in the workflow.
We have no current specific date yet for the 1.0 release, but it's going in the right direction. It could take a couple months but maybe a bit more as we have to meet the professional standards and NKS support.
Thanks for all current users and the great reviews I have received so far from everybody! It has been overwhelming and we spent a lot of time to get where we are.
I especially want to thank Bradley Gray for his technical work on the Chro-8080. He is responsible for a lot of debugging and extra Osc and FX features, as well as rewriting a very important component explained in the Alex Guyble Chro-8080 youtube video.
I hope you guys get tons inspiration for your music listening to the audio demo's and using the current beta release!
