Question about Lemur

I'll be buying an iPad (my first one ever) to my arsenal of music making hardware soon, and was wondering if the windows version is free to use so I can create templates for Lemur on windows for the iPad? I know I have to buy Lemur for the iPad since it's different from the iPod Touch and the iPhone (and I don't recall if I bought it previously; I think I have.) Any answers will greatly be appreciated.

I don't have iPad anymore but yes this is correct. I was able to program Lemur interfaces on my windows and I loaded them on iPad just normally. They work. Even on Android phone they worked. Lemur editor is having it's own file format output which will work wherever Lemur app is installed. Obviously you will need to test screen sizes etc. But there are good amount of tutorials for that.
