Noticed that on the support tab, neither send bug report or feature request are working..

Really? It uses the standard mailto: URL handler.
Today Windows 10 asked me which mail application I want to use, when I clicked on "Send Bug Report". After choosing the application, it did not ask anymore for the next clicks.

You can check what is set as the mailto: handler at Control Panel / Default Programs / Set your default programs

This is the dump file I loaded into VS 2019 with what happened..

Ouch! If I send you full debug info, do you think VS 2019 will display the stack trace? I am not sure about this...
The crash can be either in RC or EZbass, I cannot tell right now.
Another possibility for me is asking for an NFR version. Toontrack has been a nice company, they sent me an EZkeys license for testing.

Maybe the following would work:
You can add "{name="CC0 Bank Select (MSB)"; num=0; default=0; },"
to the GeneralMIDI.rcCTRL file, before "Modulation".

Then you can assign CC0 to a track, and set its value:



You can also make it an envelope, and change the value during playback.

I have a UVI Falcon 2 and when RC is playing on it then I need to switch Edit Layer Rules. But this is done just by choosing a bank (midi CC0). I can do it with my DAV MOTU DP, but I don’t know how to do it when RC plays on the Falcon. Thanks.

It wouldn't work without the source and I don't want that.. All I can say it happened.. Other than creating a video of it happening, not much I can do here.

The support issue, I forgot about mailto.. I use web based mail, so, that is why it did what it did. I haven't used a dedicated mail program in over 25 years, lol.

Great that you got the license for EzKeys.. There are other issues I noticed as well.. The gui gets messed up in beta as well, somewhat. EzKeys will pop up an "analyzing" message when you import and then it never goes away. Which tells me RC not refreshing or repainting correctly, or passing that back to the VST.

I haven't tested with any other VST's yet, but I will..

Yeah it's weird I can drag midi into Maschine and Transfuser, but not EZ-Keys. The GUI on WIN 10 keeps resizing back to a smaller size, whenever I click on something after resizing it larger. I'll have to make a list one of these days, but otherwise it works as advertised.

There's a lot to learn.

If you could add a log class that could dump the heap on an exception, that would work... maybe have a setting to turn it on and off in settings somewhere, maybe off by default. (like experimental)

I find a solution that RC work with same font size as standalone and plugin. In the program link icon choose compatibility then press button high DPI setting change.

now add the checkmark on the last setting. I have german windows 10 64. so i know not exact english word. the setting i mean is see in screenshot. anwendung mean application or app. I think you need change this in the install or the icon is change every new install of RC

and for the crash with plugin and soundfont play i can reproduce this way very often. add a rc64 plugin to studio one then add some chords. change sound to sf2 general midi and the stereo piano. now press play in studio one the chords are play. then stop song and delete the rc plugin before the notes ring out. then when the rc is add againb to same track studio one crash and quit

I managed to reproduce a crash when I did "Remove track and instrument" in Studio One during playback. I will fix this tomorrow. Thanks for reporting this!

I notice since longer time that in V4 the structure browser can not double click on a line or part to show the part or line .in the V3 this is possible. do you plan in V4 to add this feature too ?. I use it often to select the line. great that you see it too with the soundfont. I think when this crash is fix rc work good in studio one as the standalone version

good news, I managed to fix the crash when using soundfonts in the plug-in!
A new beta version is already available.

As BluGenes pointed out, you can double click on the empty space.
