If I remember correctly, Tomislav said, that it was developed by the same guy. But I'm not 100% sure.

Recently I started a personal challenge and mixed a song using only free plugins.
I ended up using the free BPB Saturator on my 2Bus. Usually I have Sonnox Inflator instantiated on that position. It didn't do the same thing of course. But it sounded really good to my ears and I kept it there. I used only subtle doses of course .....

La Petite Excite was my replacement for MaxxBass / RBass. It did the job quite well.

This BPB Saturator is very good. I think it's better than many of the commercial tape plugins out there. And the tube saturation can be very useful. BPB Dirty Filter is also very nice. I hope BPB can continue development and perhaps bring out a line of these high-quality, easy-to-use plugins for low prices.
