My Desert island Synth

Synth1.
Why ? The presets. Thousands of them - and a reflection of all the individuals that lovingly crafted them.
I realize that Synth1 can't do the stuff that Diva, Repro, The Legend, Falcon - etc do, but I don't care. I am always amazed by its character and personality and the variety of stuff it does.
It remains my favorite synth and would keep me company under a palm tree while waiting to be rescued.

If I'm stuck on an island, I'd need a computer to run any soft synth, so why would I limit myself to just one?

Mine would probably be Dune.
Because it would go well on a sandy desert island...

I'd go for something that could synthesise food from grass and sand.
But it has to have a resizeable gui and a cool looking preset browser, this goes without saying.

You may think you can fly ... but you better not try

Having said that, any synths by Wolfgang Palm (tree) would also be a fair choice.

Those would be good synth patch names, along with banana hammock, etc. You could make a Synth1 Desert Island preset bank that would sell like hotcakes if you're ever rescued.

Carmen Electra two for the price of one. One half Bay watch babe to rescue you (multiple times) and secondly a synth.
