Yeah, this is seriously awesome! If I were just getting into Eurorack and didn't already have 3x SQ-1's, myriad other rack mounted 'trigger/gate' related utilities, and/or intended to play live (as opposed to just recording everything live), it would definitely be justifiable compared to the other 'desktop' options, and on my short list. Notwithstanding, this could replace or embellish a number of things I have, sooo... it's still a viable 'maybe'.

[note to self: avoid watching more presentation video's of this] :hihi:

Yup, its a great price, I cant say I need it but I definitely could be tempted...seems very well built and I much prefer how it looks to the Beatstep pro which seem the closet thing for the price (but only 2 independent melodic sequencers and no screen)

Street price may be a bit lower once its out (259 UK -https://www.gear4music.com/Recording-an ... encer/3MYB) and be interested to see the 'final' version, seemed to be a couple of simple omissions in the software that could be fixed before release...Korg are pretty reliable for updates as well.

Here is another good video for the wait!

Yes, I've tried to like to BS/BS-pro, and just could not relate to them. More a memory issue with me, than a lack of functionality with them, but that is a major factor for me. As well as again, I already had the SQ-1's, which were immediate acquisitions when they came out, and was working out rack utilities, sequencer-variables. THIS, by contrast is very "user friendly", and has soooo many cool features that I would enjoy exploring and use.

Yes, the few omissions/glitches will doubtless be resolved, and if it comes out or shows up at $220-$249, I'll probably jump on it. Although I am very keen on the Behringer 960 @$138, and have never gotten over a desire for a Doepfer A-155 + A-154 combo, but @$500+ they have eluded my "get this(?) or food for the month" budget restrictions.

I watched both of those vids within minutes of them appearing in my feed. :tu:

here's another from Korg. :dog: this thing is becoming more appealing, in how much I could/would actually use it. :hyper:

you bastard!
really dont "need" any more sequencers.
that does look pretty cool though, lot of connections :tu:
and although i dont own any at this point in time, getting the volcas in to the modular with better sync 8) (not that i personally worry about things being in or out of sync).

I just added a Behringer 960 to my rack, it’s great fun and great value, but I feel these have very different uses...I like having and old fashion pot based sequencer physically in my case, but the Kong SQ in reality is probably better value still...it has a lot of cv outs, quantises, more steps and poly rhythm etc, sequence midi, sequence VST over usb midi etc.

Is this true? I've seen Q1, but not January.
Yo Leroy!

Not really into the trigger sequencer part as I really don't need ANOTHER trigger seq, still pretty cool.

This is going to be a hard sell for me over the Oxi One, which is looking pretty good, in case anyone hadn't heard of it.
