KLC M1, hands down. 8 part multi, 256 voices, low cpu, built in drums, thousands of banks via sysex import. sonic cat purity would be a close second.

Bitwig and don't anyone tell me it's not a synth

(BTW, I do like Synth1 quite a bit as well, still using it on a regular basis).

I agree with those saying Sylenth1. I've said it for a long time. Its basically a software analogue equivalent at this point. That thing has some mojo in it that no other synth does.

I won't argue about taste, but, you obviously didn't try the really top analog emulations yet.

Don't misunderstand me now. I am not saying Sylenth1 is the best Analog emulation, in fact I wouldnt even call it an analog emulation at all. What I meant by that comment is that, in the same way analog gear is sought after and revered today because of its unique, organic sound, Sylenth1 has basically become that in the software world (IMO). New stuff comes along and brings great new possibilities, but yes, Sylenth1 has a magic to it, like old hardware analog gear.

im not an idiot!
choice
If it was me, I would be just stuck with a constructor. Per my understanding, one would need many human hours to get some cool results as in NI Reaktor library (let's say TRK-01 or Razor or any other NI ensemble)

I'd take Dark Zebra and perhaps ANA 2 and Kick (I know, it's smuggling)
With DZ you can be very Dark and play some Batman(-ish), with ANA 2 (and Synthwave pack) I'll play me some Miamy Vice Krocket (because I can)
With both I can play some Blade Runner

(all this stuff never gets old or out of fashion on the island)

Weapons of choice (subject to change):
Godin Redline, Kuassa, Fuse Audio, Audiority, Roland A-500pro, Dune, Dagger, TAL, Reaper for Rock & Synthwave pleasures; Viper and FL Studio for guilty EDM pleasures

It was actually a tie for me between Largo and Massive X here... I guess I could live with both as a desert island synth. :) Actually tend to MX as of late.

Even in a synth thread, it's fine to ask 'have you tried Bitwig'.
