never understood why someone wants other ppls opinions on anything.... you are the person who is gonna use it, make you own mind up.....

nobody knows exactly what your goal is, or anything about you......

you will just get 100 diff opinions, and they are all meaningless, because they are not you....

Word of mouth is probably quite important in our field of interest, and asking for opinions that way is like a catalyst for that.

sure, I've been recommended lots of stuff, but i still make my own mind up

i never buy anything purely on a recommendation

of course, word of mouth is great (I get most of my work that way) and I'm pretty sure you get a ton of well deserved sales that way.... but I really think ppl should make an effort to try and give stuff a go before asking general opinions.....

i would hate to say 'buy this it amazing' cos I think so, only to find the other person spent his money and hated it
