All I did was add it to a track.. populated it with midi from ezkeys.. then exit RC. When I re-launched RC, it went into a crash loop..

So far no crashes with EZbass v1.06 with the beta version and v4.03.
I suppose you have already deleted the crashing composition file...

oh yea, zapped that one.. lol.. I'll wait for the update beta to re-test..

Could you Please fix,

The keyboard display shows an octave too high so it says it's playing C4 to C5 but when you drag it into Ableton it shows C3 to C4 .

Also is there a way to save variations as a default,I find myself opening up the same variations every time so I didn't know if there was a way that I could save it as a default.
That way every time I open a new channel and go to variations there's already my favorites there.

The octave is your choice, there is no "standard".
You will find the setting under Settings / Miscellaneous / Chords / Base Octave

So far, Bass is Bass'n.. lol Yea, that was the problem you mentioned.. Just glad it didn't affect Superior Drummer.. lol

good news, I managed to fix the crash when using soundfonts in the plug-in!
A new beta version is already available.

As BluGenes pointed out, you can double click on the empty space.

I notice since longer time that in V4 the structure browser can not double click on a line or part to show the part or line .in the V3 this is possible. do you plan in V4 to add this feature too ?. I use it often to select the line. great that you see it too with the soundfont. I think when this crash is fix rc work good in studio one as the standalone version

I notice i can double click on the empty space before the word line. but this space is very short because when move more left then it select the Part functions and jump with double click to part Line 1. hope you understand what i mean or should i do a video ?. normaly the part funtions should only appear when i am at y position of the part. maybe it is easy to fix, because when open structure browser and move mouse to right side is more mouse move. when it is not easy to fix, then ok i need live with that.

I use the b4 few days and i get no crash when load songs or change scenes in studio one. seem this soundfont release problem was the only that cause all this problems.

It seems this has taken away the highly important ability to go back to the Composition with a single keystroke (e.g. 'C').

Whatever this change was trying to fix, I much hope that fix can be re-made in a way that does not destroy our ability to rapidly navigate!

Is it possible to have the Phrase Editor open so that at least some (ideally all) of any existing notes are visible?

I'm noticing instances of the PE opening to a large blank area and then I have to hunt either up or down to find the notes.

Consider this picture, of a melody in the ME just generated using the Gen Options shown.

I would have thought that the generated melody would have all its notes confined to the specified one octave range C3-C4. This is visibly (and audibly) not the case.

Am I misunderstanding something here?

Maybe it's better if I explain it this way ,it showing up as C3 when really it should be C2.
So every time I think the note is playing C3 it's playing C2 and so on .
it's the display of notes that are wrong .

I get the same problem when I use Limit note range .
I have the setting on transpose notes but I still end up losing half of the phrase especially if the range is less than an octave.
