My ultimate cloud sub monthly is supposed to be $19.99, got charged $23.99 and then $4.80 taxes on top = $28.79 (£21 !!!)

I advise you guys paying monthly to check if they're taking the right amounts. They were moving from XSolla to FastSpring as payment providers so I'm guessing this is their f**k up.
I had the same thing - there's never been VAT taken on a payment (I'm in the UK) before but the first FastSpring payment has added a chunk on top.

I've raised a support request and we'll see what happens. It pushes it over the magical £20.00 a month is a little treat for me into the realm of something I need to consider whether I'm keeping or not.

Well hopefully RC support will live up to their word to allow me to get the Play4Life annual deal once they’ve sorted out the issue paying I logged with them.

Are you safe?

UPDATE! FastSpring refunded the VAT charge to me overnight - I'd guess it was their error.

Brian from Roland Cloud, close your eyes.

Anyone ever take a stab at reskinning these plugins?

Looking at C:\Program Files\VSTPlugins\Roland\[PluginName]\Script, all the resources appear to be there for a skin job.

I'm finding that I now have to log back in/re-enter my password to Roland Cloud every time I reboot my laptop, no matter how often. Is this expected behavior?

Yes, I've got the same issue...

I reported the same here in this thread a while back.

Hey, friends. Brian from Roland Cloud here. Yes, we did switch over our payment processor from Xsolla to Fastspring recently. There was a little bit of a difference between how the two entities process taxes, but Fastspring identified this and has been issuing refunds for overage on taxes. As always, if you have any questions about your account, feel free to reach out to us through the Contact Us link at http://www.rolandcloud.com/support and we'll take care of you. Thanks!

Hey, Funkybot's Evil Twin! This is something that's been brought up before and that I have on the request list. I think we'll have some fun changes this year.

Hey, dumbledog! This is another thing that we've had requested before. This has been communicated to the team, and we're investigating this currently. If you have a question about the frequency of notifications or auth requests, please feel free to Contact Us at http://www.rolandcloud.com/support and we can help. Thanks!

I did a remake of the TB303 with main focus of replacing the rotary knobs to something more authentic looking.

I've been subscribed to Roland Cloud for the last two years and realisedI probably can't justify the cost for now, so I want to cancel my subscription; however I've used some of the devices in many projects and patches and would very much hate to lose them. Apparently I have five devices claimed, under "Loyalty Rewards", "Play2-4Life" and "Play4Life-Ultimate", but I'm not sure a. what the difference is between these three, and b. whether I'll actually be able to keep access to them after I cancel my paid subscription?

Post

I believe you'll just be able to select five plugins, and use then after you cancel as long as you keep the Cloud Manager installed (this is still needed to check authorization) and your account active (as in you can cancel, but don't delete your cloud account when you cancel).

Post

Ah ok, thanks. I just wanted to be absolutely sure that I wouldn't lose anything when I cancelled it.

When you select the instruments you'll see Lifetime Key in the Cloud Manager. If you see that, you've got them as long as Cloud is around and you keep the manager installed.

Post

...unfortunately the Manager doesn't seem to open for me anymore. This happened last week and updating my Windows 10 seemed to do the trick, but now it again refuses to open even after updating Windows again.

Post

Maybe you can try right-clicking on it and then use "Run as administrator".
