Automation Clips in Reason don't Keep Value After Ending(?)

I'm not sure if I can clearly describe this...
In Reason 10, when an automation clip ends, the automated value returns to its default.
What I would like is for the automated value to remain static until it is called upon by an automation clip once again (e.g. like in FL Studio).
Thanks in advance!
P.S. I know that I could create an automation clip with a single static line containing the wanted value and just stretch it over the whole song, but this is the clumsy workstyle I am trying to avoid, if possible.
Peace.

You can't. This it how it works. And it's awesome, frankly.Domenico KVR wrote: Mon Jan 18, 2021 7:03 pm I'm not sure if I can clearly describe this...

Btw, in case you're not aware you don't have to draw dozens of bars of flat automation. Just make a one small clip and Ctrl+drag (or Alt?) the edge of the clip to time-stretch it.Domenico KVR wrote: Mon Jan 18, 2021 7:21 pmOkay. Yeah, I know. I read the first forty pages of the manual and found that cool tip before I got bored and swore never to touch an instruction manual again. Hehe.Btw, in case you're not aware you don't have to draw dozens of bars of flat automation. Just make a one small clip and Ctrl+drag (or Alt?) the edge of the clip to time-stretch it.
Thanks! :)
