The sounds you’ve used are very pretty and very clear, I like that. I experience them as being very light; as in being in a darkness with an immense bright, white yet not blinding light coming at you. I think it’s nicely transparent. The samples you’ve used to illustrate the concept are very illustrative, though I also feel that they are almost bordering on the obvious, oh well that’s just me.
What I tried to describe with the bright yet not blinding light is that your song is very, very dark & empty at the beginning and even though there is a sound playing a melody that darkness & emptiness is unaffected by it, I very much like that. It generates distance between the listener, or to be more precise the observer and the events happening in the song. This way I can have my own thoughts & fantasies with what’s happening.
It’s sort of funny that earlier this year I also made an ambient track revolving around circular evolution. How things change and eventually return to the same point as did you song to the crying baby. If you like you can click here and check it out, my song is called circular evolution. Ofcourse there are a lot of differences between the approach & execution of our songs even though they share a sort of similar concept.
Anyway I can imagine that your song would be played at an art exhibition about the “recent” evolution of mankind.
