Yeah, it's not a folder location issue, they're in the folder Ableton finds them just fine as does Element, as does Plugindoctor as does Traktion Waveform as does Bitwig, the ONLY one that isn't finding them is unsurprisingly Studio One (also the one I use the most despite it's god awful bugs that defenders pass off as "quirks")

But are theose plugins in the folder I mentioned? Because in Live or Bitwig you can set custom folder for VST3, whereas in S1 custom folder is only working for VST2 (despite it not saying this and not being mentioned in user manual).Digivolt wrote: ↑Thu Jan 21, 2021 12:30 pmYeah, it's not a folder location issue, they're in the folder Ableton finds them just fine as does Element, as does Plugindoctor as does Traktion Waveform as does Bitwig, the ONLY one that isn't finding them is unsurprisingly Studio One (also the one I use the most despite it's god awful bugs that defenders pass off as "quirks")

Have all of you studio 5 pro users downloaded the new analog fx?
They are in the Presonus shop, log in, put them in your basket and you get them free!
Great set of free fx, I especially like the delay and rotary

Wow! Thanks!!! I seen they were released but they had a price displayed, so I didn't even try adding them to the basket

Yes they are in the VST3 folder.... it's the only folder I use for VST3's I thought it was pretty standard for everyone to not use a custom folder for VST3's and only for VST2 (even then I use VSTPlugins) ?

Really? For me it still says the full price even though I have 5 Pro

Once you add it to the shopping cart it should show a discount bringing it to zero. At least that is what it did for me few days ago.LocalTrack19 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 25, 2021 2:16 pmReally? For me it still says the full price even though I have 5 Pro

You may need to raise a ticket with PreSonus Support. There have been intermittent problems with the redemption of that promotion since it rolled out last week.LocalTrack19 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 25, 2021 2:16 pmReally? For me it still says the full price even though I have 5 Pro

I just can't be bothered installing the presonus hub to get acces to the vst versions .
Why can't they just provide a simple installer without all the blurb , they already have our data since we registered our pro version .
My 2 cents

I tried the Analog Delay in S1 and found it sounded like anything but. Lovely GUI though. I'm going to pass on downloading more plugins just to have them but I appreciate the effort on their part. I'm more likely to use DAW-plugins when I can transfer those some plugins to one of my other hosts.

They do provide an installer for cranky old people too set in their ways to adapt to change but who would want to do that when you can install an app that takes care of everything for you, now and in the future?gentleclockdivider wrote: ↑Mon Jan 25, 2021 3:27 pmI just can't be bothered installing the presonus hub to get acces to the vst versions .

Thanks for the tip, SLiC.

I first learned about the promotion in a PreSonus email I received in my inbox last Tuesday the 19th.

The automatic coupon discount would not appear in my cart until I tried again the next day.
