It is nice, but compared to Shade it feels a little dated/limited now. I really hope it gets the Saturn 2 treatment with a refreshed UI and a few more feature/QoL updates, for example it would be nice to have variable filter drive like Shade, FilterFreak, The Drop etc.
Always Read the Manual!

I agree, hope volcano 2 will be as cool as saturn2, and soon!

Love different filter types and response tho.

For Volcano and Timeless it would be version 3.

I all most forgot (don't wanna share this secret weapon)

- PSP N2O

It's absolutely awesome sounding, and flexible like nothing else .
AND the feedback routing i second to none.

The only downside is ,the GUI is tiny and a bit fiddly.

P.S A golden feature is you can easily offset the modulators to the filters LEFT and RIGTH channel and get glorious STEREO movement . Love this feature! Wish more filters /plug-ins had this feature.

Cherry Audio Voltage version helps with that.

A never mentioned, overseen part of my RP eXplorer 6 bundle, also available as single unit:

RP XY Transfer

It´s somehow too versatile for me, but sounds good, is very very flexible and even has a USP: XY Pads.

I've been playing around with apQualizr 2 lately. Well worth checking out if you haven't already.

Did nobody mention UVI Shade?

Actually i use the Bitwig filter quite often.

Looks amazing but what is the filter quality like? I find that to be one of the weaker aspects of their otherwise usually excellent synths.

Filterfreak, PhiltaXL, Etch, Bifilter2, Filterbank 3, filters from Camelphat3. I probably have more but cant remember.

I like the look of the Toneboosters one too.
Don't trust those with words of weakness, they are the most aggressive

Fiters all sound different and I don't want to make too general statements about their sound anymore. XY Transfers also hast too many types.

I had good results here and never missed anything. XY is great for movement, offers 3 blocks and sounds somehow 90s electro for me.

But to be honest - the GUI ... I assume that RP wants to make us think about the way WE judge - and GUIs are as treacherous as a womans exterior :|

The drop is very nice. If you don't dig modulation then it may be too much. Driver from NI is great sounding. Melda Mbandpass is simple and clean with some fun options. Those are about the only filter only plugins I use. There is amazing filtering to be had if you use reaktor or another modular setup, then you can run your own feedback paths and add fun distortion and such for a wild variety of sounds. Just depends on what you are trying to accomplish I guess.
Don't F**K with Mr. Zero.
