How can u activate Midi note names view in Samplitude Daw ?
To see C#, D, E as oppose to just empty squares .

Midi note naming in the midi editor is not supported in Samplitude.I will mention it to them.
You can see the note pitches in the event editor but that's not ideal for what you want.

I wouldn't say anything but your rolling of the eyes is ridiculous...is it so hard to learn the notes on the keyboard? I mean it's not that difficult, not too mention it really is something that could truly benefit you in the future. I actually thought at first you were talking about midi cc numbers and that I would understand but to learn the name of 12 half steps on a piano is pretty much as basic as it gets.

Last time i worked on midi project in samplitude was 2006.
Another words 10 years later same all different day.

Forgive me, I guess I just do not care for such redundancy in my field of vision as there is enough clutter as there is, not to mention I tend to think in keys/intervals and not note names (and I can already see some people complaining the spelling is not correct for they key of the part). Also the samp PR has this wonderful feature of being able to drag the events on the PR vertically to adjust the velocity while sounding the note, by resizing the the height of the of the tracks you can really zoom in and precisely choose the tones you want with velocity layered samples (great for drums) if they kept the note names the same size not matter how high the PR is it wouldn't be an issue but if they grew as well it would be even more an eyesore for me.

But hey if it works for you and it can be switched off I got no problem with it..FTR I have used FL since long before I joined KvR and have always really loved the PR but always found what you show in your pic to be similar to people who tape the note names to the keys on a keyboard. Personally I would rather the devs pursue more useful features and repairs...but again that's just my POV

Year 2021 Samlitude Pro X5 V16.1.0.208 still NO midi note names .

You had six years to memorize C is the white just below the group of two adjacent black notes etc, but still NO
