Heh, I meant I was over using modular grid.

*Currently considering buying the Chaos module from Clank or the After later Audio Benjolin V2
+ expanders actually. :)
That reads better,

I've looked at that Benjolin V2.. interesting module.. clocking the rungler externally opens up more possibilities..
but it's not a module for me.
I try not to do chaos...
life does that for me :hihi:
Benjolin V2 seems cool to me, what with the weird noises it can make, not really into the poppy
bubbly sounds, but I like the industrial type noises. Unfortunately, they are out of stock atm.

The chaos module looks cool, though it's in the same vein as some other cool recently released modules,
e.g. the Mob of Emus, though the chaos module can operate as a turing machine as well
I guess. Anyway, I'm not sold on it completely. Also looking at the Supercritical Flux Filter, but
geeze it's expensive for a filter. Not sure I could pony up for the flux without a holiday sale.

I'd like a Benjolin but the Chaos & Mob of Emus, whilst incredibly powerful, don't look much fun at all to use. The Neutron Flux looks incredible.

Yeah I dunno, I was pretty excited for them, mostly the Rossum module. For some reason, I haven't
gone for any of them yet, and I could have without much trouble.

The flux filter is another story, mostly I'm just being chintzy about it. Especially when there are
some other really great filters available for much less. Filters I would like to have, like the funkstill
filter just to name one.

I bought a McMillen K-Board Pro since I only possessed my piano as a midi controller which was completely unsuitable for many sounds as the attack of the keys is so loud and for this reason only pairs with sounds which have an attack which is as fast as a piano.

When it will be released, I'll probably add an "Expressive E Osmose"-keyboard. I am still quite pessimistic regarding the release date, and I'll have to use my old Macbook Pro for installing firmware (I am a Linux user). I hope that I will not have to use it too much for adjusting settings. It's completely out of date. The McMillen keyboard has a platform-independent (runs in Chrome) web-editor.
I like that it's a really performance-oriented device with a lot of modulation options using the keys only.

I have already ordered an Aerophone Pro. I think that it makes a really expressive controller which can complement my piano skills (and the piano sound). But, I'll need a lot of time learning it since I never played a wind instrument before.

Finally bought the uno synth for £100 from Andertons. Nick from Sonic State was tinkering with one today while demoing a Bluebox mixer and I really like that stable defined low end it has, something different to my other h/w mono synths (Model D and TD-3). At least buyer's remorse can't be too bad with something that costs a ton.

My most recent purchase was a Behringer synth module splurge that included the CAT, K-2, Model D, PRO-1, and Wasp Deluxe.

Have you tried poly chaining them yet?

That's quite a splurge!

I hope you remembered to get plenty of cables for all those synths. Don't be like me, and forget to order cables! :hihi:

Not at this time. I ordered the synth modules today, and they should arrive in about 3 days. I actually forgot about the poly chaining feature. :dog:

Cables are all good. :tu:

Oh right, should be fun. I’ve only got the Model D out of those and it’s pretty versatile though like all those you bought you’ll need to add an effects chain to really bring it to life.

My first impulse purchase of the year. I've been using an MPK Mini Mk2 for some time and I've been quite happy with the compact size vs features, but the keybed was always rubbish. Well now I've upgraded to the Mk3, which is a huge improvement. The Mk2 wasn't unusable of course, but the Mk3 keybed feels much more firm and deliberate. The pads and knobs are also nicer though they were quite good on the Mk2 as well.

Take a single oscillator, producing a drone. Send it to the wave shaper, altering the tone.
This can be a triangle, Sawtooth or a square. Modulate the pulse width, nobody will care

Yes, please.

Finally bought a Korg Wavestate. It's smaller than I thought it would be, but the sound it makes is bigger than I imagined. Pads that go on for what seem like days. It took me 10 yrs to learn how to program a Wavestation, so I see no reason why it won't take another decade to learn this little bugger - probably longer, as it does so much more. :hyper:

Almost saved up for the next one - something Behringer analogue but don't know yet - Crave, MonoPoly or even the vocoder thingy.

The Deepmind 12 is still great value

What a beautiful instrument. Can't wait to hook it up to my Hydrasynth later.
