Music feels important, I love music, and I'm good at it.

I can't seem to stop making music or continuing to buy gear of all sorts. I go through dry spells, for sure, but snap out of it and it usually starts with a weekend morning where I'm suddenly awake way before I expected to be. If I fire up a DAW before anything else except coffee, I'll usually have a good portion of a track before noon. Then, if I can stick with it, by midnight I might have something I'm proud of. It's hard to predict, though.

The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.
