Very cool! Some distortions aren’t my favorite for everyday playing but sound really cool for recording, giving a nice alternative to the sounds I normally use. Brown Sound In A Box, for example.

Pedal adjacent but I got a Dewalt TSTAK VI (Deep) and I (Long Handle) in Christmas sales. They were meant for tools but they make great cases for guitar gear. Cables, headphones etc in the deep and “extra” pedals and accessories in the Long Handle. I might even get the trolley next as my practice amp could be bungeed on top.

I had a pedal on pre-order 'cos it was a damn cool pedal at a reasonable price but the builder let me cancel the order as....f**k it man, I enjoy what I've got and who knows what the f**king future will bring. 2021, big changes afoot for me, c'mon toughen up!

That pedal screams DI to me. Put a decent transformer (Cinemag/Jensen/Lundahl) balanced XLR out on it and I’m interested.

As for the future, it’s budget (no new pedals in 50 days!) and chill time. Hope it goes well for you.

Cheers man.

Yep, the builder is talking about a DI to add to his collection. If anyone is interested Nathan is active on this thread https://www.talkbass.com/threads/the-su ... 2/page-125 . His pedals can be voiced for either guitars or basses.

Doesn't it? Part of me already misses it but once things are stable again (Eric, shhhhh! we outta here as soon as we can, as you can imagine) I'll order myself one again.

Affordable stereo compact (full-sized) pedals:

The noise gate isn’t stereo, it has a send and return that’s either for switching in noisy pedals together with the gate (I think Dunlop and Pigtronix have gates like this) or for sidechaining for better quality gating (like ISP). The description on Amazon makes me think it’s the latter but my expectation from dealing with chinese pedals is it’s the former, just with a poorly written description. Both are better than usual gate pedals but the ISP way would be amazing for the price.

The delay has some cool sounds. The reverb has that typical PT2339 sound, really awful. The Dumble doesn’t sound like the Fuchs I used to own or any Dumble pedal I’ve ever used but, like he said in the video, it’s not like any of us has ever used a real Dumble to know.

Wish these had stereo in/outs for easy use with keys, but sounds interesting.

EDIT: for $399 a pop, I'd definitely want digital FX that could handle keys/line level with stereo i/o. UA should be looking to compete with things like the Eventide Space.

They are stereo, it just doesn't look that way from this image. The jacks are arrange 2x2, so these are pretty tall for pedals.
They will probably sound very good.
