I believe a proper thank you is in order, I had no idea of this. I had a sad face when I saw it was only for Novation products but then your post turned up and since I had a pair of unregistered Adam A7 speakers I could turn my sad face to a happy dub face.... thanks mate.

I didn't know about the Adam freebies, I only just registered my A77x's now but cannot see where the software is located?

do you have both accounts? focusrite and novation ?

i do have both - focusrite and novation
so maybe it shows only "in the other" when you have them both
(for vice versa offers...)

otoh, the last times their offer was for the other account within a few weeks to come
so maybe novation will get it the next time round...

Having said that they've always got back to me and been very polite and to the point, and now we've finally almost maybe got it sorted!

It is a bit of a mess, but it's no big deal when you get excellent customer support like that. After all they are putting free software in to our accounts and taking up their time to make sure it gets there. Eventually.

Kudos to the lads and lasses over at novation/focusrite. They really want to get it right and it shows in their attitude. Can't ask for more than that.

There's a few things I'm really not very happy about with my Circuit groovebox. But it's these little bits of goodwill they generate that go a long way. A few other companies could learn a lot from them. They still get to make a profit with their business model, and we get some nice free plugins to play with or sell as we choose.

It doesn't hurt either party to be kept in the loop. I'm now considering the new Circuit they're bringing out, despite my misgivings about the old one. I'm also considering a new focusrite soundcard, despite other misgivings I have about that as well.

A little good will goes a long way these days.

I wish my Focusrite Scarlett has better drivers, but i've been told not to expect it ever will.
