Not much to add here; except maybe this:Cheadle96 wrote: Wed Jan 27, 2021 9:14 pm I really like Black box. Just got the Neold and that adds a nice dimension. Vertigo VSM3 is really crazy. One thing i noticed about all those and a few more i have was programmed by Reimund Dratwa. Every plugin that i am surprised by was done by him. Not even realizing until i look at the credits. About to get some Fuse plugs. Thats Rays company.
What are your "must-have" Plugin Alliance plugins now that they are $29 ?

You can be creative in any right place on Earth, and not only in the wealthiest cities. Bring the world feelings from everywhere, and not only feelings of capitalistic or jail environment.

Don't forget the PA Vertigo stuff...

Hasn't Vertigo left PA and offer their own (updated and improved) stuff?
Isn't the PA Vertigo stuff therefore outdated?

They released two other different plugins outside PA.
I absolutely do not see how this would affect the value or usability of the PA Vertigo plugins at all...
Those others weren't coded by Ray btw.

Ah, I see! So without the magic touch of Ray these newly developed plugins are inferior. Good to know.

Thats a bit of a Bold statement here. The new Vertigo plugins are not inferior by any means; It is true that those were not coded by Ray, though.

Ray's plugins are good, but the Ircam team did a decent job on the others also. The worst thing about the PA ones are that the GUIs aren't resizeable afaict and so they get very fiddly.El°HYM wrote: Sat Jan 30, 2021 9:02 am Thats a bit of a Bold statement here. I am a huge supporter of Ray's Work, no Doubt. Lets just also keep in Mind that Vertigo also builds the Hardware. https://www.vertigosound.com/manufacture
And you are right PA should indeed update those old GUI's, as those are getting smaller & smaller over the Time.

The Elysia stuff should get resizable GUIs as soon as possible!

Ray himself said about the first release outside PA that he thinks they have done a good job on it...martinjuenke wrote: Sat Jan 30, 2021 8:55 am Ah, I see! So without the magic touch of Ray these newly developed plugins are inferior. Good to know.![]()

I knew for a fact that you were talking out of your arse here - but to make extra sure I just fired the VSM up in order to check whether anything had changed in regards to this without me being aware of it although I knew that was not the case- and BOOM!!! - all of a sudden they are!!!
Coincidentally I just re-installed everything the other day - so I have no idea when they made that significant change - and without charging for it or even just advertising it? Or how else did I miss it?
What's up with that? Was Dirk abducted by aliens?

I believe they are successively updating all of their older stuff (hopefully) as there are still quite some which are way too tiny for most modern machines.e@rs wrote: Sat Jan 30, 2021 6:31 pmThe PA Vertigos ARE resizable up to 150%.chrisstiles wrote: Sat Jan 30, 2021 11:44 amRay's plugins are good, but the Ircam team did a decent job on the others also. Good to see them working on this, actually.
