So is there going to be a new instrument or plug or something for sale when version 5 comes out? Also I was always hoping fruity would release better effects for a price. I like the ones now but would pay for better ones that come with fruity. Sure I can always buy them other places too but would be nice to get a bundle from them.

just as my question was aked, the thread ends....

does the 'lifetime upgrade' apply to FL5? this seems like an important question, that i have yet to find the answer to. im starting to get a feeling its gonna be a big surprise that this does not fall into the 'free' catagory.

i will keep looking, but it seems that the answer to this is being avoided everywhere ive looked.

im hoping that it WILL be a free update, but they are keeping it a secret to hook up th loyal consumers, without destroying the lauch of FL5.

JMC announced today on Looptalk that FLS 5 would indeed be a free upgrade.

wow! that is great! congratulations to them. that is so cool. they are really lookin pretty good right now. this is one update that i will finally be looking forward to. 'spek doo to the fruity team. and i was beginning to doubt....

here's the straight dope on FL5 as I see...it's gonna come out....everyone will be excited, most of kvr will say it sux...more will complain about the staff was not listening to some way out feature request...gol and jmc will type their fingers off....FL5 will rock and all the haters will go into their closets and love it (but hate it here on kvr)...me I like FL 4.5, I doubt they'll step backwards....end of story...

My favorite free effects right now are the Kjaerhaus Classic and Luxonix LFX-1310. I also have SuperCamelPhat.

luxinox imo is one of the best freebies...great multi fx processor, I use it more then any other...
