my first skin for ext:

dubskin v0.1

i always wanted to make a skin to work with while doing dub and reggae music .

it's really more of the kind of a "fun skin" and probably not recommended for someone starting to learn eXT since it can be quite hard to keep orientation if you aren't used yet to the location of every control .

I've taken the excellent N-Metal skin and added some elements from both the SX and Pro Tools skins. Came out pretty nice to my eyes but I obviously can't take credit. If the people who did all the hard work and created the N-Metal, SX and Pro Tools skins give their permission and someone can host a screenshot and the gui file I would love to share the results. Perhaps someone else would find it pleasing as well.

keep coming whit skins people... that cubase one is really something, theres just one thing i changed, the mini record buttons, theres some little grey part that don´t "match "..so i changed whit the mini record buttons from the PT skin ...and now i can´t get stop using this skin.

There is a skin called EnergyBlue .. or BlueEnergy, cant think which, but its gorgeous!

Thanks Dramsenik and Insertpizhere! Just need Neki's permission to use his excellent N Metal skin. Thanks to Asseca for the offer to host the screenshot and gui file if I get Neki's permission. Thanks also to Sickle666 for his offer to host. I've sent Asseca the screenshot to post here if he wishes to see if there is any real interest. This isn't a radical new skin but I took elements from three excellent skins to make a Hybrid that looks pleasing to my eyes. All credits are due to the creators of the N Metal,Cubase SX and Pro Tools skins. They are all works of art!

Thanks Shif but of course I can't take any credit,all I did was put the pieces together. Since you are a real gui artist I have a question. I want to change the light blue numbers and letter to white but when I try it turns the backgound the same color. Tried several different things,all I can think of. What am I doing wrong?

EDIT:
Never mind I answered my own question.Duh I tried everything but the right thing and it is much easier to read the values when they are white or a very light grey.

And I have one question: How you get the symbls for the synths (like the pro53) in the skin?
