Unfortunately, the demo doesn't have these new features. It is pretty well thought out I can tell!ThomasHelzle wrote: Wed Feb 03, 2021 3:54 pm especially now with version 1.2 you can have it vary over time, so it never repeats exactly the same.
That I like it so much also has to do with many of the new realtime features and some GUI and workflow options being requests I made of Adam - which he was happy to implement with more to come...

I have sent Reason three emails about the $300 error that the total component price is $262 but the have not corrected the $300 nor have they responded to my emails. Is Reason known to have poor customer service?Kalamata Kid wrote: Fri Jan 15, 2021 12:48 amThe Player Device Bundle is $300 now $149. As it turns out the bundle includes six players that total $262. https://www.reasonstudios.com/shop/bund ... ce-bundle/Kalamata Kid wrote: Tue Dec 22, 2020 9:52 am Interested in the $149 Player Device Bundle https://www.reasonstudios.com/shop/bund ... ce-bundle/ It includes Quad Note Generator and seeing the video looks like it will be worth owning. Does this bundle ever go on sale? I hope so as nowadays I never buy any music software unless it is discounted.
The regular price for a bundle will sell for less than the total component price not more let’s say $200 not $300. Correct? So on sale at -50% will make the bundle available for $100.
I informed Reason about this but they have not responded nor corrected the $300. I also gave them the link to this thread to let them know of our interest in their Players.
I hope that Reason sees this thread and reduces the price for their fan club at least temporarily so all interested parties like myself can buy it at that very affordable price.![]()

Going to set the demo up and try and do what you've outlined here to get a feel for it. Much appreciated!
I only had to wait 2 days

I thought the Phrasebox 1.2 beta would work as a demo too, but didn't test it...
Cheers,
Tom

I guess that was the reason for the sale

Would be great if it could output randomized MPE values too! I just bought it and was using it with Plasmonic and missing all the MPE nuances.

Hm - not sure how that would work, but I would highly encourage you to send a mail to Adam and see what he thinks about it.
Like I wrote before, I found him very good to work with and open to everything reasonable.
Is there any such midi tool that takes MPE into account?
Cheers,
Tom

I just wrote to him at contact@venmode.com. I'll be very curious to get his response. I had some rough ideas how it could be implemented but its very fuzzy in my head. I don't know another generator or arp that does anything like it but could be very interesting I think.ThomasHelzle wrote: Thu Feb 04, 2021 5:55 pm Hm - not sure how that would work, but I would highly encourage you to send a mail to Adam and see what he thinks about it.

It didn't occur to me, since I mostly use Phrasebox for generative things, not for playing with my seaboard block.
Will be interesting to think about..
A while ago I already thought about generative tools that generate MPE data, but not in the context of Phrasebox...

Hi Thomas - would you be able/willing to share some of your Phrasebox generative presets here? I am very curious to hear this, and hope to learn more about this program from your efforts.

Tried Phrasebox 1.2 with Cubase Pro 11. It really is alot of fun. Great randomisation options. Unfortunately the gui freezes after clicking around for a while. (Both the vst and Cubase). I tried to disable the hidpi option, and this seemed to help a bit. But have to try it some more. I also updated my Nvidia gfx drivers without result.

Seeing this in Studio One 4.6 also. Can't make changes while playing for a period of time. Will recover if I stop for extended time - minutes...
Brief experience with the plug.

Is that with VST2 or 3?
I've never had a freeze in Bitwig on Windows 8.1 x64, largest GUI scale, but I'm always using VST2 when dealing with Midi Plugins...
Let the dev know, he should be happy to fix it.
Cheers,
Tom
