Zynaptiq has just sent out this via Twitter:
Ahhhh....we have some really *awesome* stuff in the making for our audio apps. Yes, this is a teaser. Also, FWIW, ORANGE VOCODER is getting a new (and hopefully final) beta soon-ish.

I did a clean macOS install recently (Catalina) and it turned out that I can't install my favorite vocoder, Virsyn Matrix, anymore. It seems the developer stopped supporting that one quite some time ago. What a shame. None of the vocoders I tried sound as good to me as Matrix. So now I'm looking forward to Orange Vocoder 4 all the more. But I have a feeling that one will never see the light of day.

As much as I fear that happening, I still have some faith in them. After all, some of their other plugins took a long time to develop without any status updates ‘till they finally came out. Same sort of thing happened with UNCHIRP some years back.RichN wrote: Sun Nov 22, 2020 2:04 pm But I have a feeling that one will never see the light of day.

Just a day or two a go Denis emailed me in regards to 96k compatibility for PitchMap I’ve been waiting on for years... literally!!
He pointed out he had a Beta available and asked me if I would like to test it. If anyone else is interested they can try emailing him at @zynaptic themselves. I can’t speak for Orange Vocoder, it the fact he reached out after all these years should be promising to people.

I'm still waiting . . . a great loss to the world . . .
Doing nothing is only fun when you have something you are supposed to do.

That was a brave thing to do and I’m now joining you. Let’s see if Zynaptiq can withstand this pressure.
