Yup, runs now. Thanks, and welcome back!!

The macOS version (beta9) has also been rebuilt and reuploaded.

Just wanted to say, wow! The midi drag and drop to the progression browser just saved me tons of time. When I have a studio session and I work with a keyboard player, in the past, it was tedious to get the chords out of the session. For those times when we just play, not working out a progression ahead of time, anyways.

I will start the adoption papers and clear it with my wife to start your new home. lol

Thank you Attila! The new drag and drop feature for midi files and Master Track is awesome!

Right! This was a deeper issue with ghost copies not inheriting the resized length of the original phrase, now it is fixed! Thanks for reporting this!
I expect another, even better beta version later today, if and when I can fix the 'edited phrase in the inspector' bug...

I'm seeing a Phrase Repeat operation that looks non-sensical to me.

Finally! :hihi:

I agree that the midi drag and drop to the progression browser is excellent! :tu:

I notice I can drag in a single folder containing .mid files perfectly, but dragging in 2 or more selected folders does not work.

As I, and others, can and will have large MIDI file sets (of songs or chord progressions) that are organized in hierarchical folder trees, it would be ideal if the midi drag and drop to the progression browser could handle importing such libraries directly with a single drag.

I'm observing some hinkyness with copy/paste of phrases. Sometimes the paste (Ctrl-V) of a copied phrase works, sometimes not.

Also, sometimes instead of a paste, the location line moves and the Master Track chord selection changes.

And I also always wanted to be offered the scales most appropriate to these progressions!)

I find myself often wanting to repeat a phrase to the end of the area selected on the Master Track (or for that matter, the Timeline).

Additions to the Phrase Inspector Menu could be helpful here.

Do you mean like 'Collect Scales for Selected Chords', but with your selection inserted on the Master Track at the start of the selection area?

If so, makes sense to me!

Actually, if 'Collect Scales for Selected Chords' operated by inserting at the selection location instead of at the beginning, we could just use it anytime, anywhere to change scales. I think that would be quite useful.

Yes, my reasoning is simple): When I drag the midi file with chords to the master track, I see that many chords do not correspond to the previously selected scale (I just have red ones). And here I need to either see the scales that best match the chords or see the chords that match the existing scale. In short, more automation of music theory! ))

yea, that has kind of always been an issue... the trick is to make sure the last thing you click on is an empty area of the target track.. but, you would also need to turn off moving the play head on clicking the track as well.. or use the button for the paste from the phrase dialog..

Thanks BlueGenes! I see what you mean there.

FWIW, my natural instinct is to place the play head by clicking on the timeline, so as to avoid selecting phrases when I don't intend to. Thus, to me, if a last click on the timeline were equivalent to a last click in an empty area wrt. pasting then it would make alot of sense. I do not know if making that the case would impact something else though.
