I think it's a really good start for non-linear clip-based workflow in Logic.
Been a few months since I last checked, but it would need much better pre-mapped controller support and "Follow Actions", plus a robust Resampling workflow to actually compete with Ableton Live or Bitwig in this area.

a welcome feature, similar to ableton and bitwig session view.
Great to try ideas and can be used as a scratchpad, great to stock clip and drag & drop accross the arrange view
I own an APC MKII but have never used it with LP, have to try that.

Can you go into more detail about the more robust resampling workflow?Winstontaneous wrote: Fri Feb 05, 2021 10:22 pm I think it's a really good start for non-linear clip-based workflow in Logic.

I thought it was interesting. I like the waveforms that are viewable in the clips. That allows more visual clues on what is in the clip.
I really wish you could change the color scheme of Logic though.

How it is controller support for this, when compared to Bitwig and Ableton Live?

Definitely lacking some Bitwig features but along with live loops they rolled out the step sequencer:pc999 wrote: Sun Feb 07, 2021 9:25 pmCool that is what I was looking for, seems similar to Live but bellow Bitwig features.Ploki wrote: Sun Feb 07, 2021 6:20 pm https://novationmusic.com/en/logic-pro- ... live-loops

Logic Remote on iPad is an excellent controller. Easier to learn and work with for me than any of the hardware controllers I have tried. It is visual and self evident.pc999 wrote: Sun Feb 07, 2021 6:06 pm How it is controller support for this, when compared to Bitwig and Ableton Live?

I was actually looking for controller integration features, I am trying the demo now, I am not sure if it is because my Launchpad Pro is the original one, but I dont seem to be able to play it like a Instrument. Also some mapping seems off as I need to press the bottom pad to play the tow cells.
Need to do some more testing I guess...

If I'm not mistaken, that feature is only possible with the Mark3 seriespc999 wrote: Sun Feb 07, 2021 10:19 pm I am not sure if it is because my Launchpad Pro is the original one, but I dont seem to be able to play it like a Instrument.

Logic Remote is great. I wish Bitwig had something similar.
The new Logic Live Loops work well, and go along with the new Step Sequencer which is fast and powerful... plus the new Quick Sampler
