Hi,

How can we confirm we are looking at the new manual?

When I open manual from inside the new 4.1, what I see still is dated Dec 2020 and when I search on 'tonnetz' or 'chord track' nothing is found.

Thank you, lulukom, I am checking this. It is annoying that there are so many problems with a simple pop-up menu on macOS.

There are quite a few Crashes and it seems to me that this is due to switching graphics ..

Hi,

Can anyone tell me which Scale in RC is what I call the "altered dominant scale" (R b2 #2 3 b5 #5 b7 R)? (same as melodic minor built on b2)

Hi Steve,

The date on the first page is "February 2021".
I confirm the updated manual is included in the Windows installer.

I'm not an expert in these matters, but just from my impressions of work .. (changing windows, opening menus and clicking on icons, some quick switches ..)

Thanks, but I actually don't mean the Locrian.

In C:

Locrian Mode
1, ♭2, ♭3, 4, ♭5, ♭6, ♭7

C Locrian
C, D♭, Eb, F, Gb, A♭, B♭

Altered Scale
1, ♭2, ♭3, 3, ♭5, ♭6, ♭7

C Altered
C, D♭, Eb, E, Gb, A♭, B♭

OK, thanks. Somehow I got one invocation of the old manual, but it is invoking the new manual now. (I know, if I were you, I'd be thinking "user error" too, but still ...)

Sorry, I overlooked a note.
It is called "Super Locrian" (semitones 0,1,3,4,6,8,10)

BTW, can the same scale be in the database with more than one name?

There is no beta version right now.
I also updated the user guide, and added new v4 videos by Mykyndryd and BluGenes on my website.
A big thanks to everyone who helped with videos, suggestions and other contributions!

In the next few weeks I must concentrate on implementing hardware accelerated UI, especially macOS users are aware of the problems. This cannot be postponed. Please continue to report bugs, but I may not be quick with implementing new features during this time.

Thanks,
Attila
Sounds like a plan...

So, stay safe @ 127.0.0.1 and always wear a 255.255.255.0 when you go out!
