Basically what the title says. In the FX window the "play" button of the XO plugin doesn't work unless I also play the whole mix of the DAW itself. This means I can only hear and efficiently edit my XO beats when I play everything. Anyone knows what might solve this?

That's because it's synced to play with daw. I use XO in Reaper everday and it works as expected. You just need to check the sync settings up the top of XO.

Solved! Thank you! I was actually being more stupid than that. I didn't arm the track, so the plugin still worked but only during playing. After arming it, and indeed, unsyncing it, it does exactly what I want. Cheers man!

PROBLEM: XLN Audio XO is only able to play audio when the DAW (Reaper) is playing too.
