If not, I'll be asking for a refund, which is a shame because I used Firebird in literally every thing I wrote back.. then (some years ago)
no point buying the same product twice, unfortunately you already have
Tone2 Warlock (synthesizer) - available now!

this one sounds really good! personally i would had wished for more glide length options or free lenght adjustement, a user definable arp and msegs but probably it´s not what this synth is all about. and of course one can do this by an arpeggiator or mudulat so not that much of a problem as it can always be more.
great work markus!
some more things i´ll noticed (sorry if some of them has been talked about as i didn´t read that whole thread)
renaming presets in the file menu directly
fx activate/deactivate button

Markus, I'm so used to double clicking knobs to reset them, and using my scroll wheel over the drop-down menus to switch between the options like in your other synths (Icarus & Nemesis let me scroll over dropdowns and double click knobs to reset them) - is it possible to add that to Warlock?
I'm really enjoying the one-page layout. The reduced controls, and lack of a mod matrix force us to be creative! It also sounds great, I've had a lot of success with the Random button - it gives an interesting and often surprising starting point for me to tweak from.
I was wondering how to pan the sounds, but found 'Pan' tucked away in the Routing options of the LFO and ENV.

Much easier to share with others, and as I already explained in my first post, it also offers a way to ensure project settings are backed up that doesn't result in fifty useless presets cluttering up my user folder.Teksonik wrote: Wed Feb 10, 2021 12:26 am How would that be any quicker or easier than simply loading a preset ?

I think I found a bug on the Mac version. Whenever I turn the Amp Release to 0, the sound cuts completely off and cannot be played unless Warlock is reloaded. It causes a huge DC Offset/0Hz waveform and cannot be played even when changing patches unless the synth is reloaded.
Reproduced on Live 11 and FL Studio 20.8
Using VST3

Curious if this happens on Windows too.
Really loving Warlock so far and working hard on the demo/jingles

I've shared hundred of patches with others either in .fxp/.fxb format or the native format of the plugin.Lint_Huffer7 wrote: Fri Feb 12, 2021 1:06 amMuch easier to share with others, and as I already explained in my first post, it also offers a way to ensure project settings are backed up that doesn't result in fifty useless presets cluttering up my user folder.Teksonik wrote: Wed Feb 10, 2021 12:26 am How would that be any quicker or easier than simply loading a preset ?
I have no problem whatsoever with project settings being saved but if you feel you need .html files to accomplish the task then more power to you.

As mentioned before. Big Sur does not allow to debug the audiounit validation to find the source of the error. The issue affects all plugin developers.CinningBao wrote: Thu Feb 11, 2021 5:12 pm Well, I completely missed the 'no AU' line in this thread or on the share-it page.
@Markus, are you actually stating that there is no AU for this product anywhere? Can you at least compile it for Intel?

You can use strg+leftclick or ctrl+leftclick to reset a knob.Ranoka wrote: Fri Feb 12, 2021 12:06 am Markus, I'm so used to double clicking knobs to reset them, and using my scroll wheel over the drop-down menus to switch between the options like in your other synths (Icarus & Nemesis let me scroll over dropdowns and double click knobs to reset them) - is it possible to add that to Warlock?

To pan the output with a fixed value use these settings for the Aux Env.
Attack 0
Sustain 100
Send +100 (for right) or -100 (for left)
Routing target: Pan

You can open the manual by clicking on the 'HELP' button on the bottom.simmo75 wrote: Thu Feb 11, 2021 6:09 pm Where and how do you save User Patches on Mac?
I can't find where the sound banks are installed.
Thanks in advance.
https://www.tone2.com/warlock_help.html
FILE
The file-menu stores and saves patches. A single patch is a fxp file. A sound-bank consists of 128 patches and is a t2b file.
All patches that come with warlock are built-in within the vst3/dll file. They are no separate files on your harddisc.
Loads a single patch (.fxp).
Loads a sound-bank with 128 patches (.t2b).
Saves a single patch (.fxp),
Saves a sound-bank with 128 patches (.t2b).
Copy the current patch
Paste a previously copied patch to the current slot
Hint: If you want to assemble your own sound-bank you can load several single patches at once. When you hold down the shift key when the file-dialog for fxp loading is opened, you can also select several files. Warlock will now load all selected fxp files.
Hint: You can automatically load your own sound-bank to Warlock. Place WarlockUserA.t2b to "C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3" (on PC) or "/Library/Application Support/Tone2/Warlock/" (on Mac) . When you select Custom as a sound-bank in Warlock your own one will be loaded.
Hint: It is possible to rename a patch. First use 'Save patch (.fxp) to save it to your harddisc. Then rename the file with the explorer/finder. Finally import it with 'Load patch (.fxp)' again.
