Step sequencer UI can be sluggish if you have more than 10 rows, even on my 2020 Imac I7 8 cores 3.8 Ghz !pdxindy wrote: Thu Feb 11, 2021 4:15 pmLogic Remote is great. I wish Bitwig had something similar.
The new Logic Live Loops work well, and go along with the new Step Sequencer which is fast and powerful... plus the new Quick Sampler

The implementation of loops in Logic is very well done, specially if you have a Launchpad X or Launchpad Mk3.
If you don't have a Launchpad, the next better thing is an iPad (to use it touchscreen to trigger loops via the app Logic Remote, being many times better than using a mouse to trigger loops and favoring the use of multiple FXs simultaneous in the remix tab)
The loops included in Logic per se are a bit uninspiring IMHO

I think my LaunchPad is not properly recognized, it get a inconsistent status on the setup (in some menus it seems on, on other it seems of?), and it seems I cant control the first row of loops or the first track???
I am not sure if this Mac USB is working all right because sometimes it is recongized at all and the mouse is also giving me troubles, sometimes it just inst recognized at all...
But when the Launchpad is recognized it work just fine in Ableton and Bitwig...
