Waveform Free broken

Hi, no clue how this site works. Basically I have attempted to install Waveform Free because I need it to complete my literal exams in school and it is broken? Basically the app works just fine but lots of the files seem to be missing. There are no plugins, no folders for plugins, nada. It's very confusing and I have no clue what I could have done to break it, the install was super easy. The only problem was when I first installed it I had accidentally uninstalled OneDrive before, but I tried to reinstall Waveform after OneDrive was reinstalled and still nothing showed up. I'm so confused and lost, please help.

Disclaimer: I don't use waveform so my advice may not be worth anything.
You can try making sure waveform is fully removed from your computer before you install it again. On Mac you can download app cleaner and on Windows you can download bulk crap uninstaller. Once you do that, try reinstalling it again and see what happens. Another option is that you can create a new folder and install waveform to that directory.

So you tried to drag the plugin box onto a track and what happened? Blank menu, no menu?
What other files are missing? What's it say?
Where you working on something, then it broke or it just never worked?
Can you do screen-shots?
What exam is this?

Re-reading this, not sure there's not a more basic question.
Have you watched the tutorials on using Waveform? Plugins are found in the "+" symbol in the upper left. Click on this should produce the plugins menu. Select the waveform and drive it to the right-hand side of the track. If you haven't used Waveform before, and have used other DAWs, the process is quite different. Waveform is set up as a logical diagram: inputs on the left, data in the center (audio and MIDI), and outputs on the right.
The folders for VSTs are found in various places on your hard drive: Waveform does not necessarily create them.
Also bear in mind the plugins that come with Waveform Free are, by necessity, quite limited.
Last question: what does OneDrive have to do with this? Were you trying to install Waveform to OneDrive, or did you attempt to copy project folders or plug ins to OneDrive and read them from Waveform? Not sure OneDrive is able to do that.

I stop using Waveform since W8, this is the buggiest DAW I have ever tried on OSX.
Each new version looks promising but each time this is crashes fest, not usable to make an entire track with it.

And also, did you try contacting the person who told you you had to use Waveform to complete your literal exams in school ?
