Did not initially like it but it grew on me.
Very nice!

It's all rather old, these days I hardly record anything.
All my generative soundscapes are meant to run in the background, more like birdsong in a forest. I try to nudge them towards something that has a certain ambivalence between natural and artificial...
Semi-organic.
I'm neither interested in total random nor in imitating some specific style, more exploring if something interesting (to me) shows up...
Slightly irritating is actually good IMO
Cheers,
Tom

So the HGSounds website is now under maintenance mode. The security certificate for hgsounds.com expired at the beginning of February 2. I hope things come back up soon.

I assume it has a midi in and a midi out.

Just a reminder: €99/$119 - launch sale: %25 off = $90 till 2-15-21
I saw several of the demo videos and did not hear any music that I liked.
All comments are welcome.
I hope the Windows version is multi-touch capable.
Gotta say the people at Sonic-Lab produce very interesting plugins. The sound however has yet to inspire me. By their looks I suspect their plugins are much more capable.
Edit: My feeling is the M31 is very complex and would take time to produce anything resembling music. Lately I have been preferring smaller simpler midi fx and chaining them together.

I assume it is a VSTi.
It has no audio input and no audio output.
It does not generate audio internally.

Hey guys, sorry to have been so inactive lately; yup, been ill, but feeling a bit better now, fingers crossed:)
So, here's something on the horizon that seems pretty interesting:

Me, too… Except when I get seduced by something like RapidComposer (now out with a new version!) or OpusModus (several cool new features recently added!) for a while:):)Lately I have been preferring smaller simpler midi fx and chaining them together.

Glad you are back!
Yep Melodology Pro ArpSeq looks interesting. Any idea on when and how much?
RapidComposer and OpusModus are a bit too complex for me. Since you like these two could you please comment on Cosmosf M31 (look above your post) and Inspire below.

The music sounds decent.
At around $7 per month if you can jump in for a month than out for a while and back in again I would consider this deal.

Sure, ASAP, they look very interesting. But I've just moved recently and haven't yet located my iLok dongle, so I can't get the M31 demo until I find it. Off to explore Inspire……could you please comment on Cosmosf M31 (look above your post) and Inspire below.

Re: Inspire, so far just watched the two longer YT demos not from the company and was underwhelmed…for my purposes, anyway. I might further explore it as a free MIDI chord generator for RapidComposer, someday soon, and if so, will report here how that went. The melody-gen examples I heard were way too basic for my taste, which is why I love RC...

April-ish, I've heard. No idea on the price but doubt it will be high. Also heard that the current version is quite a bit improved over what's in the video, with many more features.Yep Melodology Pro ArpSeq looks interesting. Any idea on when and how much?

It looks nicer than BluArp, but both seem to have similar features on the arp side and I’m not fussed about the sequencer as I’ve many dedicated ones that offer more.
