I want to sample acapella from a song but I don't know how to make it fit my key
my idea about any acapella that is it's about a melody played and a melody is some notes within a scale so how do you deal with this ?

I would use my skills as a musician to work out the key. Simple as that. What is it that's causing you difficulties?

either: compose to acapella.

or : transpose acapella to fit current project key.

the second is tpugher, depending how far you need to transpose, it can start to sound unnatural.

Feed the accapella into scaler 2 or mixed in key studio edition. Done

The best that works for me that does take away the intergrity of the song is to tranpose the key of the sample. I am not sure what daw you use but ableton works wonders for this. If you do not use Ableton I suggest investing in a quality pitch shifting plugin to make your life easier

Worst case scenario you can try to transpose the sample 11 times and check which one fits best.

I would load it into an analyzer and pick out the notes from there. The Melda analyzer is great for this. You can also feed it into an auto tune type of plugin and then work out the key by seeing what key setting doesn't modify your notes. I find the best results will come from just playing along and building up harmonic content that way.
