yep, but now that I've used it a bit.. you don't need to use the resize, but need to use the zoomed interface, where you see a single SEM, front and back. It makes more sense to use. (zoom seems a bad choice of words IMHO, maybe 'focus' would be better) The full interface with 8 SEMS it's too clutered to use, I guess. Maybe it would make more sense if used in a giant monitor.

Well, too many maybes in a sentence

The zoomed interface (limited to a single SEM) is not that intimidating.

I was very excited about something new from G-Force, and I love Oberheim....

but... this is just more Synth than I need or want. I don't need that much per-voice control. Not now, anyway. Maybe someday.

The UI is....fine. Not great, not terrible. It's fine.

I wish they'd done the Xpander instead. Oh well.

Maybe I'll fire up the demo some future day and it will blow me away, it's possible. But right now, it's a Meh.

No one bats an eyelid when Windows only plugins are released with a Mac version usually following several months later. Then the one time Mac users get something first its a s--tstorm. Mac users are usually very polite when asking developers to make AU versions. There's no sense of entitlement.

On the positive side at least you know when the Windows version is ready, that Mac users would have thoroughly beta tested the product for you and that you will benefit from any improvements from further development to the product. Also I know it sucks to be missing out, but there is no reason to be upset over a product that you never even knew existed a few weeks ago gets released.

any questions...next time there is a whiff of a hint at mac vs pc it wont come back...I am not sure why this is so hard to understand...if someone makes a comment report it, dont tell them to stop because then it starts.
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

From what I heard in the sound demos so far, I can't say I'm really stunned about the sound. Sounds bog standard soft synth to me.

Sorry in advance for my opinion.

Def got a lovely rich, lush sound. Great for cinematic pads.

I'm a PC user, so I only heard the Youtube demos.
Sure, it sounds great, but not any better than Oberhausen at all IMO, so.. Meh. Too little, too late (and too expensive), I guess.

I wouldn't form a negative opinion on a synth based on YouTube demos. If I was particularly floored by sounds I was hearing on YouTube, it would be an indication that the person creating the sounds has a similar aesthetic sensibility to me and I may like a product, but when I hear something I don't like it's impossible to tell from a YouTube demo whether it's different tastes coming into play, or a product I just don't like the sound of. Only way to tell sometimes is to try on your own.

I have Oberhausen and i have been demoing this since yesterday.
I would still want both.
If i had to choose it would be oberhausen based on of course on price, and duo platform.
They sound significantly different for me, an oberheim fanatic, to want both.
Oberhausen of course has much better effects, ob-e much much more flexible.

How do the filters compare? I quite like the Oberhausen filter.
