If the high freq. correction display visually gets very sharp+works aggressive, then it starts to clip/pop.SeeingInMidi wrote: ↑Fri May 15, 2020 8:19 pm Also are the pops and clicks intentional when the the attack and release settings are set to fast?
To avoid this don't set the thresh too low, its mean't for peaks not all the way down to noise-floor.

the latency compensation is not correct in Cubase 9.5 on OSX 10.14.6... vst2 and vst3, eco mode is obviously the most useable latency, but higher quality or oversampling causes timing issues unfortunately.

Hmm, DSEQ latency compensation works in 9.5 as expected, just tested here on our systems.
Could you please provide more information:
1) Which DSEQ version?
2) Could test the latency compensation in a simple setup: 2 stereo tracks with same audio file, one panned hard left, the other hard right, one track with DSEQ, nothing else in the project?
Thank you.

Create new project, add 2 exact same kick drums panned hard right and left
Add DSEQ on the right channel kick, there is a delay on the right channel.
I'm at 24/48 and the delay is around 30 ms.
1/1 quality
1/1 OS
sample rate lock is off
vst2 and vst3 same behaviour.
Audio buffer size 768 samples

Hmm, just tested (9.5/1.6.2, 48kHz, quality normal), works as expected.sqigls wrote: ↑Sun Aug 23, 2020 6:24 amVersion 1.6.2

By the way, PDC is a fundamental function in DSEQ ...
We will see if we can reproduce this.
Have you tested this in a other DAW like Reaper?

Maybe you need to review Cubase latency compensation settings ...
As said, DSEQ reports current latency correctly, Cubase needs to compensate it.
On our test systems it works flawless.

as far as I know, there are no per-plugin latency compensation settings in Cubase nor any other DAW.
I can see for myself that the vst2 and vst3 versions of DSEQ plugin are suffering a latency issue. Tested in v1.6.5 also, same result.
