Yeah I agree. They strike a nice balance between skeumorphism and flat, but still are friendly to use. (And yes they look really nice as well.)

Thank you! We have been working with the same designer since 2013, and we actually spend quite a lot of time on the layout and design of each plugin.
I've been pushing for flat/modern design a lot but he's still fond of realistic 3D, so the result is, I think, a good balance of the two worlds.

Reels is a must-have if you like lofi tape plugins. Especially for USD 25 (APD).

I use Reels to give my samples that Mellotron sound.

What does "APD" mean? How (or why) is (or was) it $25 for you? The price quoted to me is almost £25.

Edit: is it because i have to pay+ VAT?

My price on APD is £17.75

Can you tell me please: does it do like Boards Of Canada in it's repertoire?

Is the noise a sample of noise? I don't know if £17.65 is expensive for a sample of noise? I do have some other (a few) samples of noise but they were sort of free.

Reels like Wires is much more than just noise. Try the demo. If you like Boards Of Canada, then you'll probably like Reels too.
