Hey Patrick, thank you for porting goodies to previous vsts.

Wanted to note that the browser categories get a bit overcrowded and go to the button area

Yeah it is at least currently a very simple browser.
It sees top level folders as preset packs and every subfolder as categories.

I assume you have yours set up like me..
a Folder called _3rd (Third Party in my case) that has Bjoerns, Fantomatica etc in them.

So solution is not having nested folders? I love nested folders :)

UPD: apparently, when keyboard is shown, there is more room for preset categories. Though even then the area gets almost full. I think we'll need some kind of scroll for categories as well.
Regarding nested folders - let's check what Patrick decides

Quick question . . . does the LFO shape apply to PWM? It seems like, regardless of the shape I've set for the LFO, I'm getting a sine wave for PWM.

Modulating the pitch works though. Saw LFO sounds like a saw, etc.

Post

PWM only uses triangle LFO regardless what shape you select. That is not changeable. That's how the real 60 works. More accurately there is no other LFO shape on the real 60 other than the triangle. U-NO-LX is more flexible as it lets you use other shapes and inverse for pitch and filter LFO but PWM is strictly triangle.

Post

If anyone could answer this that would be much appreciated. As my post says above the original Juno 6/60/106 only has one LFO shape which is triangle.

How come that in U-NO-LX even the Factory Patches are all set to sine wave LFO? Why did he not use triangle to keep it as authentic as possible or am I missing something? Thanks.

Version 4.6.3. has trouble with the noise oscilator in unisono voice 1 and voice mode n.
It plays no sound. Patrick should have a look at this

Just saw that a CLAP version of this was included, which will be awesome in bitwig. I always wanted it to have a second envelope, now it can have one, or as many as you want! Looking forward to the same for the 101.

Actually it doesn't support CLAP polyphonic modulation yet IIRC.

Oh I assumed it would since it's already mpe compatible. Damn.

Post

MPE compatible doesn't necessarily mean polymod compatible. The outcome is similar but back-end implementation is not.

Yeah I get that, but given that it already has the concept of channel separation of modulation, I figured it was already a step closer to implementing that. Hopefully eventually it will.

Post

Polymod is voice based, not channel based, though. Quite a different matter to handle in the voice management engine...
