Anyone else has strange feelings about panning in this song? Having the main synth sound panned hard left, is it normal? Sounds like the damaged record to me. Why didn't he pan it into the center?

I don't hear what you hear. Nothing sounds hard-panned to me. Do you mean that brassy sound which comes in around 0:43? Or what time mark does it happen?

Seems panned for me too, listening with headphones. The lead (bassline(ish)) synth is panned to left, so is much of the rest.
Strange indeed.
